Friend to the World!

I must say that Gulf Daily News always has the funkiest headlines anyone will ever see! I totally love how their front-page headline never has anything to do with the story or anything else, really..

But today's headline is one of my favorites so I must share: After our PM's statemanship and nation-building role won a major accolade yesterday (the Phillipine Grand-Cross decoration, no less), Bahrain now is officially "friend to the world!!"

Good for us...

What about the "Bahrain heaters alert"! I survived below 0 degrees in my dorms without the bloody radiator working... Needless to say, I have read school/uni newspapers/journals that are significantly more professional than GDN, corny bastards...

hehe.. "Sallat Allah ala bleesich"

Everytime our PM goes there, it's a new thing. They just can't say he's having a vacation in his private island in the Phillipine.

hehe.. "Friend to the World" very funny & nice catch :)
